About Us
Who We Are
Ogden City Limits is a web-based audio and video project in which we, Ogden-based band The Proper Way invite our friends into our downtown Ogden studio. They teach us one cover and one original song. We have teamed up with Salt Lake Magazine videographer Natalie Haws to record and film the entire process, so viewers get to see how the sausage gets made. Warts and all.
Each video is around 20 minutes long.
Season one of Ogden City Limits features Michelle Moonshine, Marny Proudfit, Carrie Myers, Andrew Wiscombe, and Christian Scheller.
Season two of Ogden City Limits features Alicia Stockman, Nick Nash, Carson Wolfe, Cherry Thomas, and Gordon Greenwood.
What We Can Do for You
At the end of the day, Ogden City Limits is about community. We bring musicians together. We bring artists together. We bring members of the community together.
We'd like to feature your company, product or your business in the videos we release and make you a part of these sessions and of the community that we're building with Ogden City Limits.
We release the videos on Facebook and on Youtube. It's always a moving target, but on Facebook alone, season one has so far reached 50,000+ people and seen over 180 hours viewed. The Facebook page for Ogden City Limits has hundreds of likes/followers at this point—and we have not really done much to promote it, yet. This is all organic.
In addition to the fan base just on the Ogden City Limits page, The Proper Way operates a 2000+ person mailing list with a ~20% open rate. The band's Facebook page has over 1000 followers and their non-Ogden City Limits videos routinely receive thousands of views and over 10,000 minutes viewed.
In short, we can get your brand or your product out to thousands of potential customers and make it clear that you support these communities, too.
